Join Us In Sending Christmas Cards To The Troops

drop off box and extra cards can be found on the main lobby counter

Shelby Electric Cooperative in partnership with National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) will be collecting Christmas greeting cards, letters and drawings at our main office on Route 128 & N. 6th Street in Shelbyville.  We encourage everyone to take the time to drop off a Holiday card, Holiday letter of support or have your children draw or color a picture and bring them to us by November 17.  Or you can mail them to us at: Christmas Cards for the Troops, P.O. Box 560, Shelbyville, Illinois  62565.  We will then be shipping them to NRECA who will then ship them, along with all the cards, letters and drawings they receive from coops all across the Country, to the men and women serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Please show your support for them this holiday season by helping to fill up our box.  We have extra cards available for those who need one, just stop by our main office in Shelbyville and fill one out.

You can also drop off or sign a card from these following business or partners on this project.  Casey's, Wades Quality Meats, County Market, The November 6th Fall Bazaar at the Lion's Club, Red Cross at their November blood & bone marrow drive at the First Baptist Church in ShelbyvilleWe thank you for your assistance on this worthwhile project.
