This week we had the privilege to attend Youth Day in Springfield with 8 high school juniors from across our service territory.

We were able to met with Senator Steve McClure who took the students out on the senate floor. The students were able to engage in conversation and learn more about cooperatives!

At the end of the day the students were able to interview for a chance to attend the Youth To Washington Tour this summer. Youth Tour is a week long trip to Washington D.C. where they will get the opportunity to explore the nation's capital up close, learn about the political process, and interact with their elected officials. Elizabeth Hampton from Windsor and Shae Conder from Stewardson were the winners.
