Shelby Electric Cooperative (SEC) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Journeyman Lineman. SEC is headquartered in Shelbyville, Illinois with 2,217 miles of energized line and approximately 10,106 meters in all or parts of nine counties. We are located near beautiful Lake Shelbyville with an outpost in Taylorville. This is a distribution maintenance position that will run service and be based out of our Taylorville outpost. The selected candidate will be required to live within 30 minutes from the reporting location and must have completed an approved Apprenticeship program.
