Contracted tree trimming crews from Kendall Vegetation Services (formerly Endrizzi) continue to perform right-of-way maintenance for the cooperative. Their crews will be working territory serving the Velma substation starting June 23.
The work that will be done by Kendall crews may include aerial, manual and mechanical pruning, removal of incompatible vegetation, brush mowing, applying environmentally safe herbicides, and pole inspections as necessary.
Wright Tree Service is currently working the territory serving the Wenonah substation doing right-of-way spraying.
This will not affect your power use they are just doing needed tree trimming and spraying.
We will continue to provide updates as crews move from one area to another.
**Never attempt to prune or remove trees near power lines or electrical equipment. We will perform maintenance work up to the meter. Contact us (217-774-3986) with any questions you may have about our vegetation management program.**
